# Jeannie’s Yarn Creativity Lab

If your child enjoys drawing, yarn, collage, and hands-on making, welcome to an art class that brings them all together in a creative new way!

Designed for children ages 8 and up, this beginner-friendly course combines **creative art, yarn, and mixed media**. Through each project, students experience a complete creative process: **finding inspiration → exploring ideas → developing a design → refining their work → completing a finished piece**.

The course uses an inquiry-based, encouraging approach. Students will learn **drawing techniques, color theory, composition, and basic design principles**, while developing their ideas through observation, imagination, sketching, experimentation, and revision.

Each project introduces practical art and design skills while leaving plenty of room for individual creativity. Rather than simply following a sample, children are encouraged to make their own choices, explore different possibilities, and gradually turn their ideas into artwork that reflects their own personality and imagination.

The first stage focuses on **creative art and mixed-media projects**, giving beginners a fun and approachable introduction to yarn and crochet. Children who become interested in crochet can later continue with dedicated crochet classes to learn additional stitches and complete more advanced projects.

这是一门面向8岁+孩子的零基础“创意美术＋毛线综合材料课”。课程将绘画、色彩、毛线与基础钩编相结合，引导孩子经历“寻找灵感—设计尝试—调整完善—完成作品”的完整创作过程。

课程采用启发式教学。孩子会学习绘画技巧、色彩搭配、构图方法和基础设计理论，并通过观察、联想、草图尝试与方案调整，逐步把灵感转化为清晰的视觉表达。每个主题既有专业方法的学习，也保留开放的创作空间，让孩子在掌握技巧的基础上发展想象力，形成具有个人特点的作品。

第一阶段以创意美术和综合材料为主，让零基础的孩子轻松接触毛线与钩编；如果孩子对钩编产生兴趣，之后还可以继续参加专项钩编课程，系统学习更多针法与作品制作。
